Kia

Kia was founded in 1944 as Kyungsung Precision Industry and later adopted the name Kia in the 1950s. Historically, Kia used a red wordmark often set inside an oval; that familiar emblem was simplified over the years but retained the red color and bold lettering as a core identity element. In January 2021 Kia introduced a new, stylized connected-letter logo designed to convey movement, transformation, and the brand's shift toward electrification and mobility services. The redesign marked a deliberate break from the traditional oval mark to signal a more modern, forward-looking brand posture.
