Iran Khodro (IKCO)

Iran Khodro, commonly known by its acronym IKCO, is Iran's largest automobile manufacturer and one of the leading industrial companies in the country. The company grew from domestic vehicle assembly and licensing agreements (notably with European manufacturers) into a large-scale carmaker producing a range of passenger cars, commercial vehicles and powertrains. IKCO is known for developing locally engineered models such as the Samand family and for long-standing collaborations with international partners for platforms and engines. Over the decades the company expanded its manufacturing footprint and product lineup to serve both domestic and export markets.
