GET https://api.motomarks.io/brands/hispano-suizaHispano-Suiza's visual identity is historically tied to the iconic stork emblem that became associated with the marque during World War I when Marc Birkigt's Hispano-Suiza aircraft engines—bearing the stork mascot—gained distinction. The stork, originally used as a personal emblem by French Squadron leader Georges Guynemer and then adopted by Hispano-Suiza for its aircraft engine department, later appeared as a radiator/hood mascot and symbol of engineering excellence on the company's luxury cars. Over time the brand's badges and radiator mascots evolved in style but continued to reference the stork and elegant Art Nouveau/early Art Deco cues that reflected Hispano-Suiza's luxury positioning. The company was founded in Barcelona in 1904 by Swiss engineer Marc Birkigt together with Catalan businessman Damián Mateu.
